Coordinated payment infrastructure changes across five stages — Stripe → Braintree → Recharge → Shopify Payments → new Shopify Plus org. Each transition was its own coordination program, sequenced to avoid subscriber payment failures at any point in the chain.
The subscriber token migration required deep coordination with Recharge's ESM process and Shopify Professional Services. PayPal tokens presented a unique edge case — non-migratable by nature — requiring a dedicated fallback strategy. The risk surface was significant: failed payments mean churn, and churn means lost subscriber LTV at scale.
Handled end-to-end: migration planning, vendor coordination across Braintree, Recharge, and Shopify, ESM configuration, PayPal fallback strategy, and cutover sequencing across all phases.
