The work
A gifting workflow connecting the storefront with warehouse fulfillment. Customers see a simple upsell — gift wrapping, a personalized printed note, or a premium Washi Box packaging upgrade. Under the hood, it's a cross-system workflow spanning Shopify storefronts, Recharge, Shopify Flow, and BIMS (Bokksu's internal warehouse system).
The entire system is SKU-driven — each upsell is a discrete product in the cart, which keeps Shopify-native behavior intact and makes fulfillment instructions unambiguous. Gift note data is captured via modal, stored as structured line item properties, and routed to BIMS where warehouse operators print notes directly onto card stock via Locor RIP. No manual transcription, no interpretation errors.
Directed end-to-end: wrote functionality requirements, designed operational logic, coordinated dev implementation, and handled the BIMS integration spec. Also built UI prototypes using AI-assisted coding to help speed dev handoff.
